YourSalaryNegotiator exists because the information needed to negotiate a fair salary has always been locked behind expensive software, confidential HR databases, or scattered across the internet in inconsistent, unreliable places. We built one free tool to change that.
What we built and why
The salary negotiation calculator was built after research showed that 55% of workers accept the first offer they receive without negotiating — not because they don't want more, but because they don't know what number to ask for, don't know what to say, and are afraid of getting it wrong.
We set out to remove every one of those barriers. The result is a suite of free tools that give anyone — regardless of their industry, experience level, or negotiation comfort — a data-backed counter offer range, a ready-to-send email, and the word-for-word scripts to handle every common pushback.

Free, always. The core tools — calculator, counter offer range, email generator, scripts — are and will always be free. No paywalls on the fundamentals.
No dark patterns. We don't inflate salary estimates to make users feel underpaid. We don't show scary lifetime earnings numbers designed to cause anxiety. We show realistic, data-backed figures and explain our methodology transparently.
